Solution: An excellent key, 1.Se7, threatens 2.Sc6
and gives the black king two flight squares while allowing a
queen check - 1...Ke5 2.Sxf5, 1...Kxe4 2.Re3; 1...Qxe4+
2.Rc6. Two selfblocks lead to long-range queen mates,
1...fxe4 2.Qxh8 and 1...Be5 2.Qa4. Finally
1...g any brings back 2.Sxf5. In line with the
values of the English school of composition the play is
completely accurate, with only one mate possible after each
black move.
