The problem world suffered a great loss with the death of bernd ellinghoven on 13th November at the age of 70. A composer who gained the International Master title, bernd made a considerable contribution to the literature as editor of feenschach magazine for 30 years, printer of many other magazines, and editor and publisher (with the late Denis Blondel) of a number of FIDE Albums and the Edition FEE=NIX series of books.
